Qualified is a small, fast-growing, and remote-first company, so you'll likely get experience on many different projects across the organization including working on our Codewars product/platform. That said, here are some things you'll probably do:

We have a non-standard application process - after a quick phone interview, we ask you to take an assessment via our platform so that we can learn about you and so that you can get a feel for how our platform works. From there, you will be invited to take a second assessment, and that is followed by several additional virtual interviews with people from our team to chat about the position, your ideas for it, and for us to both get to know each other better.
Once you’ve applied, you will hear back from us, even if we don't seem like a good fit. (In fact, throughout the process, we strive to make sure you never go more than seven days without hearing from us.)

About the position:
We are on the hunt for someone that is passionate about building and growing our sales team and company revenue! As a team of 12, we pride ourselves on working hard - most of us wear multiple hats, and enjoy taking on new challenges. The unknown is exhilarating, rather than terrifying. Asking for help is common, and a thirst for learning is expected. That being said, we appreciate that our team has a life outside of the company, and are conscious of our workloads and schedules. Want to work from a cruise ship? Prefer working from your home office? Like wearing pajamas to work every day? Need a break mid-day to recharge? If your work is getting done, great! We’re all adults, and like having the autonomy to work in the way that works best for ourselves, whatever that means. As long as you have a stable internet connection, and a drive to do your best work, that’s all that’s required!
While we are fully remote, we do ask that applicants are willing and able to work during standard North American business hours. While there is flexibility in exact working hours, there is an expectation to be able to regularly attend team meetings and your working hours should largely overlap with our team’s (Pacific Standard Time).

Qualified (the makers of Codewars.com) is looking for developers who want to build coding challenges and assessments. These challenges will be used to help gauge the hireability of your fellow software devs around the world.
Qualified is designed to allow for a large spectrum of real-world software challenges to be created. We don't like interviewing for companies who only give us CS algorithms or whiteboarding challenges, and neither do most other developers. We have built a platform for truly gauging the competency of software developers, using a more natural environment for being evaluated.
We are looking for candidates with experience working with various current web and mobile technologies. You should understand good coding practices and know how to write well crafted unit tests. Ideally you should be creative and love to build challenges, though we will also be providing specific requirements for which challenges should be developed.
